I’m reaching out to you to ask for your assistance in helping me create opportunities for young lives. Swingman Invitational is hosting the "Jumpin' Joe" Ward Celebrity Golf Classic on June 13th-15th, 2008 at the Griffin Golf & Country Club in Griffin, GA. The golf classic is held to benefit Basketball Ministries International (BMI). Our week long basketball camp, held this year from Monday, June 23rd through Friday, June 27th, is fairly unique in that we make sure all of the participants get the educational experience and basketball expertise at absolutely NO CHARGE to the children. It is the same opportunity someone gave me as a kid so I feel it’s important to continue the blessings. Unfortunately, I can’t do it without your help so your participation in the golf outing which is our main fundraiser, is imperative.
Your sponsorship will allow us to provide the kids with trained camp counselors, exceptional basketball instruction, extended cultural and social education, adequate food and facilities, achievement awards and other camp services for more than 500 children between the ages of 7-17. We welcome you to participate in the golf event at the level of your choice. Please see the attached materials with information on sponsorship packages from $475 to the $3,750 level. If you cannot join us for the golf outing we are offering alternative sponsorship packages and the chance to offer in-kind donations as well. You may also be a part of the event as an individual at $160.00, and of course, all gifts and fees are tax deductible through BMI’s status as a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. Last year’s event was sold-out and a huge success so we encourage you to act quickly. We hope that you take this opportunity to partner with us.
